Judith Clark is a playwright and novelist. After receiving a Master in Library and Information Science (MLIS), she worked as a children’s and young adult services librarian, before taking on several roles with a library automation company, including knowledge systems coordinator. She is a member of the Writers' Union of Canada and the Writers' Guild of Alberta.

Her past writing credits include: American Woman, performed in Sage Theatre's IGNITE! Festival (2006); Code Burgundy, commissioned by the Petro-Canada Stage One New One-Act Play Development Series (2007); and Brown Eggs, selected for Lunchbox Theatre's Stage One Festival of New Canadian Works 2025.

When she isn’t writing, she explores rural Alberta, reads compulsively, dreams of sailing on a tall ship, and wishes that she had a horse. Sadly, Calgary bylaws don’t even allow chickens and the backyard is too small.

Under the Radar is her first young-adult novel.
